Founded in early 2009 by John Sundberg, Black Hills Web Works is a website design, development and host management company located in Spearfish, SD. Our mission is to provide complete website solutions for businesses, nonprofit organizations, and individuals.

As of this writing, John is the entire staff at Black Hills Web Works, responsible for both the "front and back office," so to speak, including setting company goals, pondering, managing the books, researching technology, sales, building websites, managing our clients' website hosting, and everything else involved in running a small business.

Since graduating from high school twenty-some years ago, John has served as a Combat Engineer in the US Army, worked on a commercial construction crew, earned a Bachelor's degree in Biblical studies, served as a wilderness trip guide for several Christian camps, got married, started and operated a small construction company, started working on a Master's degree, and founded Black Hills Web Works.

John has an enduring interest in technology and its practical applications, but also enjoys long mountain bike rides, hiking with his family in the Black Hills, studying Biblical languages, teaching, writing, the challenge of running a business, and helping out with his church and other causes.

John's also been known to do some blogging here, there, and elsewhere, and he's tweeted once or twice as well.
